Vânia Fernandes will represent Portugal in Eurovision Song Contest in May.
The final results from the national competition are:
In 1st place: Senhora Do Mar - Vânia Fernandes - 20% of vote
In 2nd place: Obrigatório Ter - Alex Smith - 14% of vote
In 3rd place: Em Ãgua e Sal - Marco Rodrigues - 12% of vote

Vania’s voice is outstanding in the delivery of the beautiful and meaninfull Lyrics. You really have to understand Portuguese well to be able to feel the power in her voice and be able to appreciate the song.
I am in Canada, and the eurovision 2008 may not be televised here. does anyone know if there will be a internet website that will be transmitting the live event?
We would like to vote for Vania but are somewhat handicapped unless we know what numbers to call.
