Semi finals in Iceland
Twelve songs will be performed in Iceland. They have been split in four semi finals. The lines-ups of the semifinals have been revealed by the national broadcaster RUV.
On January 19th will be the first semi final. The finalists are:
Ãna Valgerður Pétursdóttir, Seth Sharp og Berglind Ósk Guðgeirsdóttir - “Lullaby to peace”
Páll Rósinkrans - “Gef mér von”
Magni Ãsgeirsson - “Nuna veit ég”
On January 26th will the second semifinal. The participates are:
DavÃð Þorsteinn Olgeirsson - “In your dreams”
Baggalútur - “Hvað var það sem þú sást à honum”
Bjartur Guðjónsson - “The girl in the golden dress”
The finalists on the third semifinal on February 9th are:
Haffi Haff - “The wiggle wiggle song”
Mercedes Club - “Ho, ho, ho we say hey, hey, hey”
Ragnheiður Gröndal - “Don’t wake me up”
To the national final, which will be held on February 23rd, will reach two songs of each semi final. From the lists have disappeared the Island’s 2003 representative Birgitta Haukdal and Magni Asgeirsson.
