What has happened to the Eurovision Song Contest. I almost threw up at the end when I saw who made it to the Final. There were only three I really liked, Poland, Greece and Norway. The rest….pure and simple rubbish. I mean hanging laundry on stage with three women dressed in wedding gowns….come on.
I won’t even mention the heavy metal band………
I remember a time when the Eurovision contest was a contest that had good songs, good song writing and was an avenue for quality entertainment…..not anymore
Where’s the talent, where’s the song writing!!!
And don’t get me started on the presenters both on stage and in the green room……Learn how to speak English….come on you’re being watched by millions.
The one good thing I will mention about the contest is the stage. Whoever designed it deserves a lot of praise. It was colourful, wonderful and a pleasure to watch, unlike the acts. I hope the second semi-final will show some talent. If not… good bye Eurovision and good riddence.

Yeay, You are right, Poland was fantastic, Isis Gee , she is brilliat, her voice, Jesus Christ she is owsome!!!!!!!!!!!! I have never heared better song. She is like a Whitney Houston or mariah Carrey. When I was listening song “For life” I was dreaming, I flew in my mind. We need the song like this one, not Sirusho who was screaming and jumping, my ears feel pain since yesterday. She is terrible. Norway was fantastic too. I love lirycs songs. Not bits for song like Dima from Russia who can not sing he screams. Romania was beautiful. It was so romantic.

Hmmm… I was really surprised to see so many comments on Isis Gee. Is that beacause there are many Polish to visit this web?
I must accept that Azerbayjan’s show was on a really high level.
I didn’t like Sirusho’s performance first. I think, next time they shouldn’t invite Russian dancers. Armenian guys are much better. And I didn’t like her dress. The only things I really enjoyed at first were her voice and temper. I agree with those people, who say she was something like Britney and also Shakira… The Armenian part of the song was really nice. I didn’t like the English lyrics first. I don’t think, we should come down to cheap euro-pop level. Our culture is much deeper. From this point I liked Bilan’s song, though I agree he’s got a bad accent.
But the strange thing is that the more I listen to Sirusho’s song the more I like it.
I liked Israel, not the singer but the song. And I liked Greek, not the song but the singer. She’s really sweet!
To tell the truth, I think Bilan will win. Why not? He was second last time.
Bosnia and Hercogovina was awful. I didn’t understand what was that all about…
Anyhow I’ll vote for Armenia, otherwise my relatives will kill me

All in all, Polish representative was absolutely the best. Isis Gee shows the highest level of singing, and what is more, she is the only one who has written and produced the song only on her own. I really admire her!

You have to realize this is a SHOW. Not the beauty contest, not a song contest, but SHOW. it’s for the entertainment and fun. I was bored seeing Poland because it had nothing original. Great voice, though, but that’s all…
Greece….or should I say USA? ridiculus. maybe that part with the traditional music can be considered.
Etno is not popular, I do not appreciate rock comercials. Azerbaijan and Armenia were very good, that’s the kind of a show i wanted to see. Belgium had the funny song, funny language (which one it was?) and i am sorry they didn’t make it.
But, of course, as you all glorify your own countries, I must say something about the performance of the representatives of my country. As you do not understand Bosnian, and you have never seen or heard any of Laka’s previous performance, you may not totaly get into the song he made. And, paradoxally, you stay asleep right being awake, just the way he sang last night…. we all need more love, it is not about the wedding, it’s not about the verse itself, but in the underlying message. And Europe once again stays conservative, what else we can expect?

Greece had a wonderful performance and all the polls include her in the top 5 performances of the final. I liked Armenia Russia and Norway as well.Polish song was boring and the singer was too plastic.Moreover. as far as I know, Poland’s climate is neither sunny nor hot and she was too much suntanned.That wasn’t good for her.She should have focused on her good voice and avoid the artificial and fake suntan. Portugal, Norway, Germany or France are great songs!!!! Poland’s just another “deja vu” … song , nothing special. Finland without imagination (hard rock again?) i don’t think it will b the wining formula again. Denmark entry’s very poor (How they make the final?), also the same question for Bosnia and turkey… Greek song’s nice but also deja vu formula, I don’t like Latvia, Croatia, Georgia… Dima bilan was great with “Never let you go” but not this year with just another ordinary ballad (he wait 2 years for this composer? waist of time!) Ukraine’s not bad but i think they are trying 2 “sell” the singer good image only instead of a good voice. Just one more think to say: People, VOTE 4 THE SONGS and not for the countries!!!

First of all seems this song contest getting more country contest,soon we gonna have hooligans involved also i guess.Now talking about music,want to say that after last night semi finals(22th),with surprises and with six Scandinavian - northern countries passing to finals,seems this years gonna be Northern solidarity and the winner will be from North and closer seems to be Sweden.Its not bad for winning song with a good presentation,nice voice and show .I believe good songs to win also could be(without any political criteria) Israel or Azerbaijan(something different-plural music)and Poland.(voice,performance)Surprise can be from the rockers Finland and Turkey if the rock-metal funs vote.Russia with Dima dont seems this year for winning part(was better his ex-participation).My country Greece ,good song maybe but ,its true its fake,bad copy of this Usa singers,and the mode of this type songs had ended.For Armenia i can say its a big disappointment,though they can win,but just trying to play the sexy singer,with bad voice and boring repeat,seems no chance.

Zauważ, że dotąd na Eurowizji właśnie od Niemców dostawaliśmy najwięcej punktów - taka jest prawda, jeszcze nie widziałam, żeby Niemcy nie dali nam jakiś punktów, a najczęściej były to wysokie noty i do tego oceniali wysoko takie badziewne zespoły jak ich3, blue cafe i etc. Więc dlaczego nazywasz ich naszym wrogiem? I dlaczego nie mam głosować na niemiecką piosenkę jeżeli mi się podoba, owszem gdyby była możliwość głosowania na Isis, od razu wysłałabym też smsa na nią, ale nie ma takiej możliwości. Wiadomo, każdy chce aby ich reprezentant wygrał, ale to co wy robicie jest bez sensu, ludzie sobie myślą, że głupie Polaczki cieszą się jak dzieci, bo pierwszy raz od dłuższego czasu Polska jest w finale. Poza tym jak dla mnie, to co robicie, to nie reklama Isis tylko jeden wielki obciach, jedynie co robicie to wielką szkodę. Pozdrawiam!

hmmmmmm armenia performerance was pretty good and the song was nice, but this is not a song for eurovision contest. songs like this one makes eurovision VANITY FAIR, so i think POLAND deserves to be the winner. gripping and very beautiful song and singer. there are a lot of nice songs but they are not appropriate for such a contest. this is my opinion.
