Eurobandið - Iceland Eurovision 2008 Finalist

Eurobandið will represent Iceland in Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade. After eleven quarter finals and four semi finals, the audience chose the band with the song “This is my life”. That was one of the most favorite among the public even before the final. At the end of the show were announced the top three.

Isis Gee - Poland Eurovision 2008 Finalist

Isis Gee will represent Poland in Belgrade with her song “For life”. The jury and televoters gave her maximum points. Natasza Urbanska took the second place and in third tied Man Meadow, Plastic and Edi An.

Kraljevi Ulice - Croatia Eurovision 2008 Finalist

Kraljevi Ulice - Kings of the Street have won the Croatian national final Dora. The group will represent the country in Belgrade. They are extremely popular band as they perform daily on Zagreb’s main square.

Kings of the Street took part in Dora 2006 and 2007 so their third performance was the lucky for them. They got the same points from the audience as Antonija Å ola’s song - “Gdje je srce tu je dom”, but the group received more points from the jury.

Dustin the Turkey - Ireland Eurovision 2008 Finalist

Dustin the Turkey will represent Ireland in 53rd Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Irlande Douze Pointe”. The winner was chosen by the mixture of televoting and sms.

Ireland is the country with the record of 7 wins in Eurovision Song Contest. The most successful country won in 1992, 1993, and 1994 in a row but after hosting the contest in 1997 the things dramatically changed. In 2005 the country did not reach the final, in 2007 finished last in Helsinki. This year Ireland will take part in the first semi final on May20th.

Deep Zone and Balthazar - Bulgaria Eurovision 2008 Finalist

The song “DJ Take me away” won in EuroBGvision. The song will perform Bulgaria in Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade. Unique musical instrument was created specially for the song. Bulgaria takes part in the second semi final on May 22th in the Serbian capital.

Maria Haukaas Storeng - Norway Eurovision 2008 Finalist

Maria Haukaas Storeng won the Norwegian national final for Eurovision Song Contest and will represent her country in Belgrade. She won the competition with her song ” Hold on, be strong”. She qualified to the final of Melodi grand Prix and there she beat the other candidates with her melodic song. To the Super Final were sent four songs and there she won by a landslide with more then 80 000 votes then Torstein Sødal.

Geta Burlacu - Moldova Eurovision 2008 Finalist

On the national final in Moldova was decided Geta Burlacu to represent the country to Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade.

She performed her melodic jazzy song “A century of love” perfectly and won the professional jury. The audience’s undisputed favorite was Alexa who won more then 3 000 votes, but left on second place.

Csézy - Hungarian Eurovision 2008 Finalist

Csézy will represent her country in the Belgrade. She won the Hungarian national final. She will sing her song in the second semi final of Eurovision Song Contest 2008 on May 22nd. On the final the jury gave one point more to Adrien Szekeres.

Elnur Gusseinov - Azerbaijan Eurovision 2008 Finalist

Azerbaijan will take part in Eurovision Song Contest for first time in 2008. Elnur Gusseinov was selected to represent his country.

He performed two songs to the national final. “If you are never back” and “Day after day” are the songs that reached the final. On February 15th will be decided which of these song will represent Azerbaijan for first time in Eurovision Song Contest 2008.

Simon Mathew - Denmark Eurovision 2008 Finalist

Melodi Grand Prix was held in Denmark. The regional televoting decided Simon Mathew to represent the country to Eurovision Song Contest 2008. His song “All night long” is written by Jacob Launbjerg, Nis Bøgvad and Svend Gudiksen.

Kreisiraadio - Estonian Eurovision 2008 Finalist

The Estonian national final, Eurolaul 2008, was held. For the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest was chosen Kreisiraadio, to represent the country. Through televoting the song “Leto svet” was decided to go to Belgrade. The back-up jury selected “Ice cold story” as their favorite song.

Jeronimas Milius - Lithuanian Eurovision 2008 Finalist

The young Jeronimas Milius won the Lithuanian national final that took place in the LRT studios in Vilnius. Jeronimas Milius was unknown to bigger part of the TV viewers and the radio audience, but he won their hearts with the operatic ballad “Nomads in the night”.

In the heart, Jeronimas Milius is a metal rocker, but he perfumed a melody rock song for a wider audience. The twenty three years old singer has been a part of the metal band Soul brother. After his performance, the press in Lithuania wrote “Stop Eurovizija, send Jeronimas to Belgrade”. The audience seems shared that point of view and sent Jeronimas Milius to Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade.

Morena - Malta Eurovision 2008 Finalist Video

The Maltese national final for Eurovision 2008 was held. Eight singers took part and Morena with her song “Vodka” won.

The audience and the public via televoting chose that song to perform the country. The song is written by Philip Vella and Gerard James Borg.

Stefan Filipovic - Montenegro Eurovision 2008 Finalist

Last night Montenegro have selected Stefan Filipovic to represent the country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2008.The song that Stefan will perform will be made known by March 15th.

Six Montenegrin artists competed in a televised show. It was held in Shass Disco in Podgorica. Each artist performed two songs and after the televoting Stefan won the majority of the votes.

Stafan Filipovic is twenty years old and has participated in many festivals. Last year he won the popular Budva Festival with the song “Nebo i more”.

Teresa Kerndlova - Czech Republic Eurovision 2008 Finalist Video

Tereza Kerndlová will represent the Czech Republic for the Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade.Her song “Have some fun” beated the other nine songs. Tereza Kerndlová was born on October 6, 1986. She rose to fame as a member of Black Milk. When the trio split in 2005, Teresa started her solo career and released her first album “Orchidej”. Teresa Kerndlova won the majority of the votes and beated many hot favourites.
