EUROVISION FANS, i would like to announce you, not to vote for UK and German, cause, LISTEN TO THAT! - ” they said that they dont Take EUROVISION seriously”. This is very bad thing for all the other countries. its a crime not to respect all that effort of all those people who take place in this contest.

Comments like this are why people in Britain say they don’t take eurovision seriously, because every year countries refuse to give us any points regardless of song quality.

Andy was brilliant - the best Uk performance for a number of years. The ‘block’ voting for Europe has made the competition ridiculous. I really think it’s time for the Uk to pull out its more classy performers. Why humiliate someone who is obviously as talented as Andy. I have previously been a really big (may be sad) Eurovision fan - ther is no point!

I don´t see why it matters anyway. People like this MITSOS guy are just the typical Eastern Block fan, prejudiced as usual and not even giving others a chance. It’s always the same over-extravagant entry winning ever year from the eastern bloc.

The problem with Eurovision is that the fans are too polarised. Eastern Bloc fans now outnumber Western Block ones, and so they only vote for what is similar to their own tastes. I don’t know how much longer this competition can last for if it’s always going to be Eastern countries getting the votes.

Eurovision is a great time of the year for the us in the UK to be reminded of how much the rest of Europe (and slighty beyond) hates us.

It wouldn’t matter if we reincarnated the Beatles and they performed the show of a generation, it would still be the same…Nil points…except maybe the odd one from Ireland or Malta.

Funny old world ain’t it? Eurovision popluarity contest methinks….?

Let’s face it …..the reason UK got no votes is that it is a run of the mill pop song peformed with a lack of passion.

BORING. And I am a Brit.

Whilst I don’t think that Andy’s song was of a quality that would win the Eurovision Song Contest, it certainly did not deserve to come last….

I like some of the above think that it’s all too political, the Eastern Block vote against the UK (if they hate the UK so much why are so many working here at the moment!!).

It could be the best song in the world but it would not stand a chance in hell.

As for why the UK don’t take it seriously - well because it’s a complete farce!!!! Terry Wogan predicts which country is going to give the 12 points to (and that country then gives that country 12 points back) - and it’s laughable when lo and behold excactly that happens!!! His

I think the UK should no longer participate and stop funding what is an annual farce!!! The voting is no longer in the spirit of the competition.

If UK music is so bad why does it sell so much better across Europe than the music from the rest of Europe?

    Peter

As I first saw this song on the finals I thought it was great and it could get lots of points but it showed that even countries which had really bad songs like Spain, Bosnia, Croatia, France got more votes than this song.
