Junior Eurovision Song Contest participants

The participants taking part in this year’s Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2007 are seventeen. On December 8, 2007 in Rotterdam, Mariam Romelashvili from Georgia with the song “Odelia Ranuni” will open the festival. Second is the Belgium group Trust and their song “Anders”.

From Armenia comes Arevik with the song “Erazanq”. The song “I Mousiki Dinei Ftera” will be performed from Yiorgos Ioannides from Cyprus. Fifth is Jorge Leiria from Portugal and he will sing the song “Só Quero É Cantar”. From Russia comes Aleksandra Golovchenko who will sing “Otlichnitsa”. The song “Sha, La, La” and 4Kids are coming from Romania.

The girls band Bon - Bon is fifth. They come from Bulgaria will perform the song “Bonbolandia”. From Serbia is coming Nevena Bojovic with the song “PiÅ¡i Mi “. The Netherlands will be performed from Lisa, Amy and Shelley with the song “Adem In – Adem Uit”.

Winner’s Tour across Europe

Marija Serifovic’s Winner’s Tour in 2007 was very successful after her victory in Helsinki and the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) will send again the next year winner of Eurovision Song Contest 2008 in Belgrade to fully paid, pre -arranged tour across Europe.

Maria was the first Eurovision winner who was offered such promotional tour. The tour will include appearances in TV shows, performances, press conferences and other events. In March or April 2008 will be announced the full schedule.
After the victory of Marija Serifovic in 2007 Eurovision Song Contest in Helsinki, she had the chance to visit Spain, Denmark, Sweden, Greece, the Netherlands, Germany and her native Serbia travelling in a private aircraft. She held press conferences, appeared on local TV shows and performed her winning song “Molitva”. It is expected that next winners schedule will be with similar activity program. In Sweden was her most impressive appearance at the Gallerien shopping mall in Stockholm where thousands of people gathered to see Marija performing her song.

In Eurovision Song Contests’ rules is written that the artists should be available for the Winning Tour to promote the winning song.
